Two men were injured in a crash earlier this week in Mercer County.
According to State Police, 29-year-old James Podvasnik of Cochranton in Crawford County was driving a three-wheeler in the middle of Karwash Road in French Creek Township shortly before 7:30 p.m.
Another driver hit Podvasnik head on and Podvasnik was flown by Life Flight to UPMC in Erie with serious injuries. His condition is unknown at this time. Podvasnik was charged with not using a headlight and the other driver was charged with driving in the middle of the road.
Neither driver was using any form of protective gear.
