A Mercer County teenager has been arrested for trying to run from police.
On Saturday evening, Grove City Police received information about a 16-year-old girl from Farrell, PA with an arrest warrant who had been seen in the area.
Officers responded to the parking lot of Grove City High School and questioned the girl who matched the description of the wanted person. She allegedly gave the officers a fake name and tried to run away before being caught.
The girl is facing charges including False Identification to Law Enforcement and Resisting Arrest in juvenile court.
