We have a little more information about a Memorial Day police chase that ended in a crash in Butler County.
WPXI is reporting the chase started about 1:30 a.m. Monday near North Park Lounge on Route 19 in Cranberry Township when police attempted to pull over a driver for lighting violations.
The 45-year-old driver apparently did not stop, but instead made a U-turn and fled…traveling 20 miles per hour over the speed limit.
The chase ended about 10 minutes later on Route 19 near the border of Jackson and Lancaster townships when the car crashed over an embankment and rolled.
The driver was taken to a hospital. He will face several charges.
