Governor Tom Wolf is expected to sign a law today making medical marijuana legal in Pennsylvania.
The bill would allow residents of Pennsylvania suffering from a list of certain medical conditions, to have access to medicinal marijuana. People who have cancer, epilepsy, chronic pain, among other conditions would be eligible for a prescription. In the Midwest, medical mj cards ohio also allow those with eligible conditions to access marijuana, with many people able to access the pain relieving effects without having to take heavier drugs such as opioids. As the country is currently in a crisis regarding opioids, this step has been welcomed as a good measure towards giving more options for those suffering from chronic pain and the other listed conditions, such as the option to buy weed online and from licensed dispensaries.
However, the marijuana cannot be smoked and will only be sold in pill, oil, or liquid form. This is due to the fact that using products like cbd for chronic pain means that the patients either intake none of very little amounts of THC, which is the active ingredient in marijuana that causes the psychoactive reaction. The idea is that, by offering the CBD oil alone, people who would otherwise exploit the medical marijuana prescriptions will be kept at back. It also does not stop people from being able to access online services like https://naturesaidcbd.com if they are unable to move much themselves to visit a dispensary as many online retailers stock CBD products in these forms.
This in turn will help the local community support those who need these products to help maintain a healthier, pain-reduced life.
