The public is invited to attend an outdoor event at McConnells Mill State park later this week.
On Friday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. the park naturalist will lead a Salamander Safari on Hell Run Creek.
This activity promises fun and discovery for the whole family as salamanders and all sorts of other creatures call Hell Creek home.
Participants should meet at the Hells Hollow Trail parking lot, dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water.
