Anyone interested in learning more about local nature while getting exercise are invited out to an event scheduled for later this week at McConnells Mill.
On Wednesday the Park Naturalist will lead participants on a fairly easy evening hike from the Hell’s Hollow Parking Lot to Hell’s Hollow Falls.
During the one mile hike from 6 to 8 p.m., event goers will learn about the local geology, lime kiln, and waterfall safety.
Those interested in participating are asked to wear sturdy footwear, dress for the outdoors, and to bring drinking water.
