The public is welcome to take a trip back to the autumns of years past this weekend at McConnell’s Mill State Park.
The 24th annual McConnell’s Mill Heritage Festival will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., as well as 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Kildoo Picnic area and grist mill.
The weekend will include local artists and craftspeople as well as bluegrass music, a Civil War encampment, nature-focused activities and crafts for kids, and an Old Time church service Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
Admission and parking is free at this event, sponsored by the Portersville-Prospect Rotary.
