Local golf professional Rob McClellan scored a hole-in-one Wednesday at the Southpointe Golf Club in Canonsburg. McClellan’s ace came on the 12th hole. He is the current point leader and money leader on the Tri-State PGA Tour through 10 events this year. He is the only player averaging under 70 this year.
McClellan and Gene Walter won the Tri-State PGA Mountaineer Pro-Pro Championship Monday at the Pines Country Club in Morgantown, West Virginia. The duo shot -10 under par for the 36-hole event.
