Wearing a mask on public transportation appears to be sticking around for another month.
President Biden’s administration announced that they would be extending the mask requirement on mass transit another 30 days.
The previous deadline was set to expire next Friday.
Locally, that means masks will still be required on buses through the Butler Transit Authority.
The CDC may consider reducing the length of the mandate if transmission rates continue to fall.
