A local school district will be closing an athletic facility for turf replacement beginning today.
The Mars Athletic Complex will close about 3 p.m. Friday as crews will begin the process of replacing turf.
The stadium will remain closed to the public during the course of the project.
The project is expected to take several weeks and reach completion later this summer.
