Students in the Mars Area School District will be going fishing later today.
Students from the middle school will be releasing trout this afternoon at the Glade Run Lake in Valencia.
The students raised the trout from eggs to fingerlings in a classroom aquarium as part of cold water conservation education program—which teachers say incorporates ecology, environmental science, chemistry and math.
