There’s still time for residents to join with local students to support the American Cancer Society.
The Mars Area Middle School Spirit Club is holding a fundraiser as part of the annual Daffodil Days campaign.
This event gives students the chance to buy daffodils or tulips for $10 to $25 during Homeroom with proceeds benefiting the cancer society.
Participants can also make a monetary donation for a Gifts of Hope package to send flowers to cancer patients in hospital facilities.
Orders are being taken through tomorrow (Friday) at Mars Area Middle School but the Cancer Society will continue to accept orders through Tuesday of next week. Flowers will arrive the week of March 20th.
