Students in the Mars Area School District have announced the results of fundraising efforts to benefit a worthwhile cause.
The Mars Area High School Student Council collected $777 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through the recent “Spring Eggs-travaganza” event.
This student-organized collection took place last Sunday and included activities such as an egg hunt, photos with the Easter Bunny, bingo, coloring, face painting, crafts, games, and a duck pond.
A large number of students and community members participated in this third annual event.
