A local school is holding an event to benefit a good cause.
The Mars Area Middle School will hold their annual Pasta for Pennies fundraiser Friday.
Students will be collecting spare change and counting it in their math class. The class that collects the most coins will win a pasta party at the Olive Garden in Cranberry Township.
All proceeds benefit the Western PA Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
