Students in the Mars Area School District will be learning more about what it takes to save a life in the upcoming days.
First, an assembly will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. for students in grades nine through twelve at the High School. Speakers will discuss the importance of CPR and give a demonstration.
Training for high school students begins the week of September 26th while students at the Mars Area Middle School and Centennial School will be offered similar training later in the fall.
Passavant Hospital Foundation has donated six CPR kits, each of which includes ten CPR manikins, which will be used to instruct students and staff in Bystander (Hand-Only) CPR.
