More than 40 boxes of supplies are heading overseas to Eastern Europe after a donation drive was held by a local school district.
Students from Mars High School’s Enrichment Club held the drive last month to help show support to those impacted by the war in the Ukraine.
During that time, community members donated blankets, diapers, personal hygiene products, and much more.
Cardboard boxes were donated by the Home Depot and Amazon supplied a van to help haul the donations.
They will leave from the Rankin Croatian Home and be shipped to Poland.
