The Mars Area School District is considering investing in a new capacity and programming study.
The district’s School Board heard a feasibility study proposal from a representative of Thomas and Williamson Program Management at their meeting Tuesday night.
The district last had a study of this kind done in 2015. It would cover capacity of buildings, enrollment projections, grade level configurations, special education requirements, and cost estimates.
The cost of this proposal is about $20,000.
The Mars Board is expected to vote on accepting this proposal at their meeting next month. If they decide to move forward they are expected to have results by this November.
