A local school district is encouraging students and staff to give extra effort to positive behavior later this week.
The Mars Area School District kicks off its ‘Positive Behavior Initiative’ with themes of anti-bullying and random acts of kindness on Friday (10/7).
Banners and t-shirts worn by students and staff will reflect the idea that Mars stands for Motivated, Accountable, Respectful, and Safe.
Throughout the year, students in kindergarten through sixth grade who demonstrate positive behaviors will receive bracelets or pencils featuring the theme.
