The new Mars Area School District administration building addition is on schedule and under budget.
The school board received an update on the progress of the project from a representative of Thomas and Williamson at their meeting Tuesday night.
Administrators, including the district’s IT department, are expected to begin occupying the structure by the end of next week.
Even with a $9,000 change order necessary to make the current administration facility fully ADA compliant, the board was told that the new addition will come in under budget due to money saved on sidewalks and windows.
