A Mars man has been named as a defendant in a complaint filed by the United States Department of Justice.
A recent press released stated that Matthew Theiler has been charged as a result of his role as former Vice President of Sales for Boston Heart Diagnostics Corporation.
The DOJ has filed charges in connection with an alleged violation of the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and the Stark Law based on improper patient referrals and improper billing of federal healthcare programs for laboratory testing.
Others facing charges in this filing include two laboratory CEOs, one hospital CEO, and others across Texas, New York, and Pennsylvania associated with Boston Heart Diagnostics and True Health Diagnostics.
