A local school organization is using today’s focus on the number two to make sure those less fortunate have enough food too.
The Mars Area Elementary PTO is sponsoring a “Twos Day” Food Drive to benefit the Lighthouse Foundation food bank.
All Mars students in kindergarten through 6th grade are encouraged to bring two canned goods to school for donation. Anyone who does this can then wear a tie, tiara, tutu, or tie-dye clothes to school.
