A local high school student council will sponsor a blood drive later this week to benefit the American Red Cross.
The Mars Area High School Student Council will sponsor the drive Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Donors must be at least 16-years-old and weigh more than 110 pounds. They must also be in good health. All potential donors must present identification, and any students who are 16 must submit a signed parent consent form, which is available on the district website.
