A Mars Area High School student is facing criminal charges after he allegedly made two “non-credible threats” yesterday.
A letter posted to the district’s website said that the student distributed a potentially threatening email to all high school students and also wrote a second threatening message on a bathroom wall.
The district and Adams Township Police deemed both threats to be “non-credible” but still cancelled evening activities as a pre-caution.
The student was not named.
