–Mars won their fourth straight section title after defeating Central Valley 9-0 last night. The Planets remained perfect this season at 12-0. The defending WPIAL and state champions are the third-ranked team in the nation according to the United States Soccer coaches association.

–Shady Side Academy remained unbeaten with a 7-3 victory over Freeport.
