
A group of young people are giving back to their community through a project at a local school.
Members of Girl Scout Troop 28850 recently made improvements to the playground at Mars Area Primary Center.
Fifth-graders Elise Balazs, Grace Carnicelli, Jill Julian, Nina Szudera, and Katie Wyman were assisted by second grader Margot Wyman and first grader Ava Julian painted a maze and hop scotch as well as tic tac toe and connect 4 games.
The scouts were able to earn their Bronze Award by completing this community service project.
