The public is invited to join with Mars Area School District students to raise money to benefit breast cancer research.
Students at the Mars Area School District will participate in the ‘Hats For Heroes’ fundraiser on Friday.
Students in all grades will have the chance to make a donation in exchange for the opportunity to wear a hat in school. Friday has also been designated as a district-wide “Pink Out” to raise awareness by students and staff wearing pink clothes.
Anyone interested in making a donation can do so by check at the schools’ main offices or online. Proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
