Students at a local school are getting an idea of how life was like in colonial times with a full day of activities Wednesday.
Second graders at Mars Area Elementary School are participating in Colonial Day as part of their social studies unit on American history.
The day will include colonial games and music as well as Native American communication, dwellings, and games.
Plus students and teachers are expected to dress in clothing representative of the colonial time period.
