Although the Mars Area School District will have a make-up day after Friday’s snow cancelation, the district says they will be using Flexible Instructional Days in case they close school again.
Now, these are also known as “FID Days,” and they essentially move the day’s lessons to an online classroom. Mars officials say they will be utilizing FID Days for the next five snow cancelations.
For students who don’t have access to the internet, they’ll receive their assignments either the day before, or after, the snow day.
