A local school is gathering food for those less fortunate.
The Mars Area Middle School’s Community Service Committee is holding a Food Drive from Monday to Friday this week.
Donations of canned goods and other non-perishable items may be dropped off in the school’s main office during school hours. The 7th and 8th grade classrooms that collect the most donations will be announced next Monday (11/23).
The drive will benefit The Lighthouse Foundation food bank.
