The Mars Area School District will offer two safety programs to area residents this week.
On Tuesday, the district will host “Survival 101” and a Hands-Only CPR training program at the Mars Area Centennial School gymnasium starting at 6pm.
The evening will begin with the “Survival 101” program, which will be presented by Adams Township Police Officers. The program will encourage appropriate decision making amongst middle and high school students. Parents and new or soon-to-be drivers are encouraged to attend.
Then at 7pm, the District’s School Nurses will offer a Hands-Only CPR training program for any parents or community members interested in learning more about CPR. Certification will not be included.
