A Butler County school district has been recognized with inclusion on a list of top schools in the nation.
U.S. News and World Report has included Mars Area High School as 13th among Pittsburgh Metro Area High Schools.
Mars is also ranked as 55th among Pennsylvania high schools and 1,611th in the nation with an overall score of 90.97 and a graduation rate of 98 percent.
Rankings are based on college readiness of students and overall state assessment performance as well as college curriculum offerings and graduation rate.
