A local museum is welcoming the public to join in a special celebration.
The Maridon Museum on North McKean Street in Butler City will celebrate Chinese New Year with a gathering from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided. Those attending will be able to welcome the Year of the Tiger with musical entertainment by the Jim Cunningham Quartet as well as Asian dance by Steel Dragon.
Tickets are $45 per person and reservations are required since seating is limited. Call 724-282-0123 to RSVP or for more information.
