State Police are looking for an individual involved in an attempted robbery in Muddy Creek Township, Butler County.
On Wednesday evening, around 6:30pm, an unknown man attacked a female 40-year-old truck driver at the Pilot Fuel Station. While in the rear parking lot, the man stared choking the victim with a cord and then reportedly held a knife to her throat demanding money. State Police say he then threw her to the ground and struck her multiple times with a glove covered fist. The man then fled the scene.
No word on if the truck driver sustained injuries. She was driving a big rig with a loaded trailer and is from Alabama.
Anyone with information and can help in this case is asked to contact authorities.
