The Mercer State Police are investigating a shooting from earlier this month that involved a man from Atlanta Georgia.
Authorities say that just after 10pm on Sunday June 7th, they responded to the Hampton Inn in Springfield Township, Mercer County for a call about a man with a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, police found 29-year-old Jasper McIntosh of Atlanta Georgia, who suffered a gunshot wound to the hip.
Police say that two additional people, who were caught on the hotel’s video surveillance, dropped McIntosh and another individual off at the hotel. After dropping off the victim, the suspects abandoned their 2015 Dodge Charger at a nearby construction site. Authorities say that when they recovered the car, they noticed bullet holes in it.
After further investigation and questioning, police say that it’s still unclear where the shooting took place.
