State Police have confirmed that a man has died after being struck by a tractor trailer Tuesday afternoon in Muddy Creek Township.
This incident occurred just after 1 p.m. near the fuel pumps at the Pilot Travel Center off Route 422.
According to State Police, 75-year-old William Adams of Pittsburgh was backing out of a gas pump when he hit a 64-year-old male pedestrian and knocked him over. Adams’ vehicle drove over the man and was stopped by other pedestrians as he did not know he had hit the man.
