A Butler 20-year-old will spend up to eight years in prison for shooting a man last year in the City of Butler.
Jase Charlton was sentenced Tuesday for the shooting, which happened last summer at a West Brady Street apartment. He was sentenced to serve between 2.5 and 8 years in state prison.
Authorities say Charlton shot 21-year-old Brandon Fairtrace in the face as he was sleeping in a first-floor apartment. Fairtrace was critically injured.
