Police are asking for help finding the person responsible for a robbery last weekend in Allegheny County.
According to State Police, around 7:30 p.m. last Friday a man stopped to assist a motorist presumed to be experiencing vehicle trouble along Route 28 north near the Springdale exit.
The man who stopped was then assaulted by another individual and items were taken from both him and his vehicle. The man sustained minor injuries and was treated at Allegheny Valley Hospital.
Anyone with information about this ongoing investigation is asked to contact the Kittanning Barracks of the State Police.
