A New Castle man pleaded guilty Thursday to robbing two local banks last year.
Calvin Douglas Smith, 43, robbed the Huntington Bank on East Washington Street in New Castle last November (Nov. 5, 2014) and then robbed the First Commonwealth Bank (located on the same street) a month later (Dec. 2, 2014).
Smith will be sentenced in March. He could face up to 20 years in prison.
