A Butler man wanted by police on an outstanding warrant led police on a foot chase on Christmas Day.
Butler City Police officers were called to a home at 564 West Cunningham Street just after midnight on Tuesday for a possible overdose.
After officers assisted firefighters and medics, they encountered a man who misidentified himself. Through an investigation, police identified the man as 22-year-old Eric Defelice. He was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Defelice jumped out of a second-story window in an attempt to run from police. Officers gave chase and were able to arrest Defelice without incident.
During the incident, officers learned two other occupants of the home were wanted for outstanding warrants. 36-year-old Cassie Kelly-Winkler and 52-year-old Elmer Scherder Jr. were arrested without incident and placed in the Butler County Prison.
