A Butler man is accused of causing a disturbance at a bar and then leading police on a foot chase.
The incident started about 10 p.m. Sunday inside the Belmont Bar in Center Township.
According to State Police in Butler, 39-year-old William Barbary of Butler was inside the bar when he began threatening to fight patrons and the bartender. When troopers arrived, Barbary was standing outside in the parking lot.
When the bartender identified Barbary as the one causing the disturbance, he ran away.
Troopers caught up to Barbary near Sunset Drive and took him into custody.
He’s facing several charges- including resisting arrest and public drunkenness.
