A man was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital Tuesday morning after a tractor accident in Center Township.
First responders were called to Route 8, near Unionville Road, about 10 a.m. and had to pull the man up from a hillside. He was then reportedly put on a stretcher and taken to the Unionville Fire Station, where a LifeFlight helicopter was waiting.
Early reports indicate the man worked for PennDOT and was moving grass when the lawn tractor rolled over. The agency has not yet confirmed that the person was a PennDOT employee.
