Officials are investigating after a Parker man was found dead inside a garage that caught on fire yesterday morning.
State police in Butler arrived at a house on Locust Lane in Allegheny Township Monday around 7 a.m. to see a garage engulfed in flames.
The homeowner said her ex-boyfriend, a 48-year-old Parker man, showed up at the house with a gun—which prompted her to call 911.
While she was on the phone with police, she heard a gunshot and then saw smoke coming from the garage.
When crews put out the fire, they found the man’s body inside.
The name of the victim was not revealed.
