Police have released more details and the names of the two individuals involved in an accidental shooting in Concord Township.
Police have charged 36-year-old Raymond Keefer of Karns City for the accidental shooting of his wife last Monday after an argument.
Keefer spoke with police on scene and said that during the argument between the two, he took out his gun. He loaded one shot into the gun before being told by his wife not to go outside and fire the gun.
Then while unloading the gun Keefer accidentally fired the gun and shot his wife in the leg. According to police Keefer said it “happened so fast.”
When police interviewed the victim at Butler Memorial Hospital she confirmed the same details.
Keefer was charged with recklessly endangering another person and has been placed in the Butler County Prison on $15,000 bail.
