A man is facing charges for taking thousands of dollars in cash from a local business.
The incident happened this past October at the Prospect-based Cox Automotive.
Police say 32-year-old Chad Wimer of Prospect took a bank bag that had $7,300 inside. He’s also accused of stealing power tools from the business.
He eventually returned a portion of the money when confronted by the business.
