A Butler man is facing charges after he wielded a knife at a Butler City business.
Police were called to the Domino’s Pizza on Main Street on Dec. 19 for a report of a man acting erratically with a pocket knife. When police arrived on scene they identified the man as 28-year-old Troy Whitmire.
Police told him to give up the knife and he complied.
Whitmire was charged with eight counts of aggravated assault and terroristic threats as there was seven employees and one customer in the store at the time.
Whitmire has a preliminary hearing schedule for Jan. 13.
