A local man has been charged with attempting to flee from police last week.
Butler Township Police observed 38-year-old Aaron Burd of Butler fail to stop for a stop sign on Route 68 last Tuesday (5/30).
As officers were performing a traffic stop on Burd, he fled from his vehicle on foot.
Burd was charged with a stop sign violation as well as fleeing or attempting to elude police.
