A northern Butler County man is behind bars after he led police on a chase.
State Police in Mercer County say they tried to pull over Matthew Ford, 28, of Venango Township around 11 p.m. Sunday on Route 308 but he failed to stop his truck.
Ford turned onto Route 58 and continued at a high rate of speed until finally stopping at his home on Gibson Street, authorities say.
There, he was taken into custody and charged with fleeing and eluding police.
