A Cranberry Township man remains in jail after police say he broke into an apartment and threatened a woman with a knife.
The alleged incident happened last week (about 4 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27) at an apartment on Bellwood Court.
A woman reportedly called police and said she woke up and found a strange man with a knife in her bedroom. She said the man allegedly threatened her and after a brief struggle, the man dropped his knife and fled the apartment.
Police found 39-year-old Ronald Cooper walking on a nearby street. He allegedly told police he needed money and entered the apartment to steal something.
