A major traffic light project will begin next month in the City of Butler.
PennDOT announced that nine lights will be replaced starting at the General Richard Butler Bridge and finish at Penn Street.
The project is set to begin on January 10th and continue through the summer.
Most of the work will be performed during the night according to PennDOT.
Officials say parking will be impacted during the project that will also include curb ramp improvements and pedestrian poles.
The project is expected to cost a little over $2 million.
