Parking on Butler’s Main Street was limited Monday morning to allow for volunteers to do some clean-up work.
The Butler City Shade Tree Commission was out cutting branches, fluffing the mulch and doing some pruning of trees during what they dubbed “Tree Maintenance Work Day.”
The work continued from Penn Street to Wayne Street.
Because parking on Main Street was restricted, the city decided to open the North Main Street lot- which is across from Burger Hut- for free parking today until 5 p.m.
